Image source-  Favim. After schooling, comes the most awaited and essential part of a student’s life, i.e., college life. Remember how we entered school for the first time? Crying and yelling not to go inside but were dragged away from our parents for a few hours. It turned to be a jail for us back then but slowly the friends we made there and the teachers made us feel like home and then home seemed boring. The last day of school and yet again, we were in tears; tears of departure from each other. Yes, even I cried but then I later realised that all the tears which did flow were real but from whom I cried, they weren’t real. The friends I made were double faced (few were exceptions as still date we share an amazing bond). I cursed myself for making such friends but then I thought, “abhi toh college baki hai, for sure I’ll find some good friends and make amazing memories.” Then the day came, I stepped into my college for the first time and things turned out pretty well. Oh, being a teen is a mistake, a sin?  No, it's our right. We are the young generation of India. If we wear decent clothes, they call us ' CHAMPU ' & If we wear stylish clothes, we are given the title of ' SLUT '. What should we do? Protesting for someone's right is wrong according to the society. They see the ill & the worst sides of those things. Blaming us for every damn thing is not the way to get things better. Today teens commit suicide, they go into depression, why? Mainly because of the society. To, The Society , "Please help us to grow in a healthy way. Don't blame us for everything. We too are human beings & human beings do commit mistakes. Please be good to us & not cruel. We are the coming up generation, we are the future of India" From, A Teenager .
